The First Annual Bright Lights for Kids Ride
- A Cycling Event to Honor Charlie Criniere and to "Break the Cycle" of Child Abuse. 1,900 kids are abused every day | 13,000 kids are...
Charles died suddenly on August 27, 2022, when he was hit by a car while on a bicycle, leaving behind his wife and 10 children, 9 of whom are still at home. He was a devoted husband and father who deeply loved his family. Now the Criniere family is left in what seems like an impossible situation. However, the community is responding in amazing ways and the family is carrying a message of great hope!
Charles was a graffiti artist on the streets of Chicago until his faith in Jesus radically changed his life. He was a Deacon at Grace Point Baptist Church and a beloved public school teacher in Grandview, Missouri. His whole mission in life was to bring lasting change to the next generation.
This is the official memorial cycling jersey for Charles Criniere. The Kansas City Cycling Community hosted a massive cycling event called "Bright Lights" for Charlie." This high-visibility memorial jersey commemorates Charlie's life, that event, and will help to keep cyclists safe while spreading Charlie's story.
Charlie devoted his life pouring into the next generation teaching in the public school system and in Christian Ministry. This family has a long history of giving radically of their own time and money, and now is the time for us to rise up and give back! Let's shower this family with financial abundance so that Megan and the Children can move into the future with all they need to continue to spread Charlie's legacy.
